I’m a hobbyist photographer and I’m always looking to improve my craft. I learn what I can through practice but that can only get you so far. It’s always helpful to pick up a trick or two from someone who is an expert.
Until reading this article I didn’t know who Henri Cartier-Bresson was. Now I do and I appreciate his work and tips.

Found this link amidst my meanderings on the internet: Why 1000 words a day is easy and quick. This is a goal that I hope to immediately obtain as swiftly as possible. The joy writing brings me is great, the mental consternation I impose on myself before writing are unwelcome. If some system can help mitigate the unwelcome effects and encourage me to write more than I am completely gung-ho on the idea.
I bought the web domain hswolff.com a while back. ‘hswolff’ is the handle I use across the web. It’s not mysterious in any way – simply my first and middle initial and my last name.
Until today hswolff.com was a blank page. Today it’s a neat background image and a link back to this blog.
I intend to update it and use hswolff.com as more of a digital playground for whatever I fancy. I’ll keep you posted on any changes that go down.
