There was a time in my life when I was constantly playing video games. It started when I was near six years old and introduced to my first video game, ‘Bubble-Bobble’. It was a simple Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) game, with simple mechanics and addictive gameplay. You lived your life as a little square monster who projected bubbles at enemies, trapping them inside the bubbles, which then allowed you to jump on top of the bubbled monster to bounce them off the screen and conquer the level.
In case you didn’t know Microsoft is releasing a new add-on for the Xbox 360 later this year called Kinect. What is Kinect? In brief it is a webcam that you attach to your Xbox 360 that is able to track the motion of your body so as to use your body as the controller for games. What does that mean? I think it’s easier to learn by example so click on over to Mashable to see an upcoming Kinect game being played. Looks really cool to me.

This is the most exciting news I’ve read today. If you grew up in the 90′s and had a Nintendo 64 console then you played Goldeneye 007. I was (and still am) a huge fan of Goldeneye 007. I even tried to play it a few years after it came out when the next generation consoles were released. The gameplay was still amazing but the graphics were noticeably hurting. Fret no more! Fresh from E3, Nintendo has announced they are refreshing Goldeneye 007 and bringing it with all new graphics to the Nintendo Wii. Ars Technica has the full scoop and a picture. I am so excited!
